Approximately 300 people attended the annual “People Who Care Awards Dinner”. Special awards were given out for Outstanding Leadership and Lifetime Advocacy, in addition to the regular awards recognizing volunteers, professionals, agencies/programs, and businesses.
The County of San Mateo recognized David Carmany, City Manager of Pacifica, for the Outstanding Leadership “People Who Care” Award for his work preserving affordable senior housing.
