“Ohio retirement benefits consultant David Carmany, a 25-year veteran of city government, has been appointed as Seal Beach’s city manager.
Carmany, 50, who was confirmed Monday night by the City Council, previously served as city manager of Agoura Hills, Malibu, and, most recently, Pacifica in the San Francisco Bay area. His appointment ends a two-month national search.
For the past four years, he has worked in Dublin, Ohio, as a regional manager for Public Agency Retirement Services, a firm that helps public agencies meet federal requirements for employee retirement benefits.”
