“A year after the Manhattan Beach City Council abruptly parted ways with the city’s top official, elected leaders of the seaside community are looking for a fresh start with a veteran administrator from Orange County.
David Carmany will begin his tenure as city manager of Manhattan Beach on Monday.
Carmany was most recently the city manager of Seal Beach, a coastal town in Orange County where he was hired in 2007. He also has managed the cities of Agoura Hills, Malibu and Pacifica.”
