The new Seal Beach Fire Station 48 has been recognized as a “distinguished project” by the Western Council of Construction Consumers. The city was recognized for completing the project under budget, before deadline and adding state-of-the-art equipment.
The Western Council of Construction Consumers also called the project “distinguished” for its capacity to serve the city as a backup emergency operations center, and it is large enough to serve as a command post in the case of any man-made or natural disasters.
